Jennifer- COLORFUL

  1. I really like how the boats fill the frame and the placement of the blue boats. There is something very peaceful and idle about the composition. The blue and white boat caught my eye and I like how that one is the only boat that is fully in the picture. I like the choice of cropping on the others and the fact that they are all going in different directions. It makes me think of blue sky and blue water even though I can't see those things in this picture. There is a focal point, logic in the disarray, and simplicity.

  2. This is an eye-catcher! The position of the central blue-seated boat carries the eye up and leftward into the varying angles of other boats; an eye-journey. I wonder how closely those angles represent that spiral of the "golden ratio" as we were shown in the first class.
