  1. I love how this dog is planted squarely on the ground, expectantly staring at the ball. It captures, for me, the mood of the dog and her eagerness. I like how the dog and ball fill the frame with the ball as a point of reference that anchors the bottom corner. For us the focus is the dog, but for the dog the focus is clearly the ball. What caught my eye is the angle and subject placement, use of cropping, simplicity of grass, rocks, dog and ball, and the story I see there. The whole scene is simple, but manages to fill my mind with the action that is going on after the picture was taken.

  2. I love this picture. The angle of the picture is interesting. You're drawn into the picture by the dog's focus on the ball, and can feel the dog's antipication of getting that ball!

  3. I like the use of the diagonal to point the viewer's eye to the yellow ball. This picture would be much less interesting if the dog were framed vertically (i.e. looking straight down at the bottom edge of the picture area).
